So what 's this latest rage called Colour Purple International Week hitting the news feeds of our media streams? 
Well, it's a week of FUN: raising awareness and funds for abused, rejected, physically challenged and marginalised women worldwide and you can partake remotely anywhere in the world.

It starts on the 1st of December 2013 - 7th December 2013 . WEAR ANYTHING PURPLE DURING THE COLOUR PURPLE WEEK AND DONATE £3 OR MORE via

There will be events in this 7 days period at different locations in England, the United States and Sierra Leone, so stay tuned.  Alternatively you can partake, take a picture of you in Purple, post on face book, twitter and other media sites and donate via the above link.

Colour Purple International Week will provide funding for Melqosh Mission International's  three- tiered missions:

1) Providing sustainable projects through our grant programme for female amputees whose limbs were barbarically hacked off during the ten year war in Sierra Leone, widows of the deceased amputees including their dependants.
2) Provide day or weekend relief to single mother who have children with disabilities worldwide.
3) Rendering care and support of women and girls who have experienced or are experiencing domestic violence, rape, rejection, emotional, physical and psychological abuse .
Ask your colleagues at work, your friends, families or the children at school to wear purple for a week and make a donation of £3 or more.
