The hall erupted when her name was called as winner, Marie was hugged and kissed by Shameful Deceit producer, Theodora Ibekwe-Oyebade. She was congratulated by so many guests as she made her way to the podium; it took her a couple of minutes to finally give a humble thank you speech.

Marie came to prominence as winner of Class Act, organised  by legendary director, Ruke Amata; she was cast as lead in his film, The Past Came Calling. Her role in Shameful Deceit was very challenging but she handled it with aplomb.

She has appeared in other films, notably a comedic role in Nelson Spyk's London Na Wa and Helen Gold's production of 18 Carat Mama (in post-production).

ZAFAA night was full of glitz and glamour, a very well attended event from both sides of the Atlantic. The aforementioned Theodora Ibekwe-Oyebade was the Face of ZAFAA

Filming has started in London for new romantic comedy 'Mum, Dad, Meet Sam' starring Joseph Benjamin.

OKP PRODUCTIONS in association with RUKI LONDON bring you a New British/Nigerian Romantic Comedy starring the highly acclaimed JOSEPH BENJAMIN (Tango With Me, Mr and Mrs, Project Fame), the hysterically funny A DOT COMEDIAN (Friday UK, Wild N Out, Crack Me Up) and some other familiar faces in Nollywood.

The film is being directed by Tony Sebastian Ukpo (Fighter’s Ballad) and is being produced by Segilola Scott (Love Prevails) and Co-Produced by Edith Nwekenta (Unspoken).

Also, we still need help completing this film. Our kickstarter (crowd-funding) ends in less than 2 weeks, so any amount you donate would be much appreciated. It's all or nothing, so if the full amount is not pledged, the project will not get funded.
